A Successful Fundraiser . . . Because of You!

SASHA Farm‘s annual benefit and auction is our largest fundraiser each year. The money raised allows us to continue providing food, shelter, and medical care to animals who rarely received these necessities prior to becoming our residents.
SASHA Farm became a non-profit, 501(C)(3), charitable organization in 2001. We celebrated 15 years of animal rescue and animal welfare education during our banquet on October 28, 2016. Each year, our fundraiser is made successful by our attendees and those who donate to our auction. A big “Thank You!” goes to everyone who supported us throughout these past 15 years and who continue to support us.
Please help us thank our 2016 auction donors by recognizing their contributions and help support them by your patronage.

Hometown Life Article
The Shimmy Shack 2017 Michigan’s Sexiest Vegan’s Calendar is getting well-deserved attention from the Observer and Eccentric Media’s Hometown Life site. Writer, Sharon Dargay, interviewed Shimmy Shack’s owner, Debra Levantrosser, to discuss her reasons for creating the calendar and her charitable donations from the profits.
Fifty percent of the profits from the 2017 calendar will be donated to SASHA Farm Animal Sanctuary and the calendar was filmed on our grounds.
“SASHA Farm’s values match our values. We believe animals have personalities and deserve love. To us, eating a pig is the equivalent of eating a dog. If people got to know pigs, they’d see pigs have personalities, just like dogs, and the same with cows,” Levantrosser said. “We like what SASHA Farm does and how they do it.”
Thank you Debra! We agree!
