SASHA Farm Spring Social May 21, 2017

Sunday, May 21, 2017 is our annual Spring Social Fundraiser and Open House, here at the sanctuary. We hope you’ll be able to make it! This will be a fantastic opportunity to meet the animals on guided tours throughout the day, hear their stories, and learn more about living with compassion.

Our friends from Shimmy Shack andHut-K Nutrilicious will be here, so you can get yourself some delicious animal-friendly eats. Most importantly, we look forward to sharing the importance of animal advocacy with you all.

***IMPORTANT NOTE!*** For the safety of all, please do not bring dogs. We know you love your canine friends, and we do too! It is for this reason that we do not allow dogs to visit the sanctuary…we want everyone to stay safe! This applies to the Humane Fair in August, too. Please, keep them home.

Our Valentine’s Day  Benefit Dinner for the Animals will be on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 6pm – 9pm ET.

We look forward to spending the evening with you as we raise funds for the animals while enjoying delicious food prepared by our friends at The Lunch Room in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Tickets must be purchased before February 6, 2017 and seating it limited to 35 people, so buy your tickets soon!  Tickets can be purchased HERE.

 

 

The ticket price is $75 per person and it includes:

  • Appetizers
  • Entrée
  • Dessert
  • Non-alcoholic beverages (coffee, tea, soda, and limeade)
  • Cash bar available

  • Spring Rolls with Sweet Chile Sauce
  • Tempeh Reuben Burger Sliders
  • Avocado Cucumber Sushi Rolls

Entrees 

  • Pasties & Gravy with Stewed Collard Greens (Collards are Gluten Free)

  • Orrechiette Pasta with Lentils, Kale, Walnuts and Butternut Squash

Dessert 

  • Two dessert options

A Holiday Message to our SASHA Farm Supporters

The SASHA Farm Board of Directors, its animal residents, and our wonderful and compassionate volunteers who come rain or shine every day to care for our animals, wish to thank our supporters for all that you do.  Without you, SASHA Farm could not be the safe haven that it is for our incredible and amazing residents.  Your donations and your support of our various events throughout the year allow our new residents like Laddie, Eve the pig, and Nell and Sophie the Nubian goats, to have a place they can call home forever.  And for our other animals who have been here a while, such as Sheldon the sheep and the pigs June Carter Cash and Johnny Cash, and all of their very good friends, they know without a doubt they will be safe and sound and well cared for, and most importantly, loved.  We have lost some animals this year and we have mourned together, but we have welcomed more and will keep doing so with your help.  Thank you again for continuing to be the voice for the animals through your support of SASHA Farm.  It has made 2016 a great year for our sentient beings, and we look forward to continuing our work with your indispensable partnership.
